Devotional
The message is very clear. The outcome of doing things God’s way is pleasure and joy. The consequence of doing things man’s way brings displeasure and sorrow. The Bible also teaches us that, “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” No matter how tempting it may be to do things according to the dictates of the flesh; the way of the Spirit is always better. When we do our best to obey God and His word, we are acting righteously; and the fruit of righteousness is gladness. On the other hand, If we insist on doing our own thing regardless of God and His word, our dreams will perish. It’s good to have great expectations. However, for our dreams and desires to come to fruition, they must be obtained through the righteousness found in obedience to Christ.Daily Reading
