Devotional
The sanctuary of God is the church of God. It is the place where God's prophets speak. A prophet is one who speaks forth the mind of God. Every time a prophet speaks sin is revealed. The prophets of the scriptures were more than tellers of future events. They revealed the nature of the people. For the most part in our day, prophets are the preachers among the body of Christ. When they speak, sin is revealed. How often have you gone to your local New Testament church gathering and found that the message was intended for you? "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?"[28] Preaching is a must in the gathering of the body of Christ. And unless we are regularly gathering to hear the preaching of God's Word we will not understand the totality of God's will and way for our lives.Daily Reading
